Spotlight on Seniors - Magazine for Seniors

After 14 years of producing the annual newsprint supplement 'Seniors Shine and Seniors’ resource directory, in June, 2013 the Council on Aging partnered up with Frose Creative Solutions and presented a new magazine-style guide, Spotlight on Seniors – Seniors’ Guide to Seniors’ Living.

Kimberly A. Whaley, C.S., TEP, LLM, LLB, BA 
The founder and principal of the Toronto boutique litigation firm, Whaley Estate Litigation. Kim is also a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.  Kim is also a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Her practice is restricted to the resolution, litigation and mediation of estate and related disputes throughout Ontario.

Mark Handelman, B.A., LL.B., MHSc  (bioethics) 
Mark is Counsel to Whaley Estate Litigation and a part time Member of The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.  He practises health law with emphasis on the relationship between practitioners and incapable patients and has litigated more end of life cases than any other Canadian lawyer.

Heather B. Hogan, J.D. (Litigation lawyer) 
Prior to joining Heather was counsel for the Ministry of the Attorney General’s Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (“OPGT”). Her work at the OPGT focused exclusively on civil and estates litigation, including capacity, guardianship, real estate, fiduciary duty and child protection proceedings.
